DAN DOERNER
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt and Instructor
After wrestling in high school, Dan was introduced to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu while enrolled at Bowling Green University. Dan began his training under multiple time world champions Saulo and Xxande Rribeiro, as well as Sport Jiu Jitsu World Champion Chris Blanke. Doerner acheived the rank of Blue Belt at their school in Toledo and began competing almost immediately after starting his training.
After graduation Dan, a Cincinnati native, moved home and began training at JG MMA Academy under renowned Black Belt Instructors Jorge Gurgel and Jon Stutzman. Dan has since achieved the rank of Black Belt and is actively competing at all local tournaments. You can train with Dan Doerner every week night in our 5:00pm Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Fundamentals class.
