Eric is our primary personal trainer here at JG MMA Academy and works with many of our professional athletes. Eric has a BS in Exercise and Fitness Education from the University of Cincinnati. He is certified by NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and the American Kettlebell Club. Certified Personal Trainer course. Eric is the Strength and Conditioning trainer for all JG MMA athletes including UFC fighters Dustin Hazelett, Mike Patt and Jon Meyer.

He has also been working with Pro BMX athlete Josh Suhre.  Josh has been hampered by injuries for the past few year and Eric's strength and conditioning are helping him immensely.

Generally when you first meet with your trainer you will review your current exercise habits, medical history and goals for your fitness program. The information gathered will be used to develop a workout program with your specific needs/goals in mind.

Cardiovascular Exercise

Your trainer will help you determine what cardiovascular (aerobic) exercise is right for you, teach you how to use the equipment, and tell you how hard and how long you should  be working on each piece of equipment.

Strength Training

Your trainer will incorporate a variety of strength training techniques to meet your personal goals.
